How To Measure Cellular Shades
- Use a metal measuring tape for the most accurate results.
- Round all measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
INSIDE MOUNT 1. Check Window Frame Depth
Measure the depth as shown. Inside mounts require a minimum of 1 1/2" unobstructed depth within your frame for most styles.
Minimum Inside Mount Depth (fully recessed): 2 3/8" . If your window does not meet requirements, outside mount is recommended.
2. Check for Evenness
Measure the diagonals as shown. An uneven window will have measurements that will differ by 1/2".
If this happens, an outside mount is recommended.
3. Measure Width and Height of Window Frame W: Measure your window frame at 3 locations: top, center, and bottom. Use the shortest of your three measurements as the working width. H: Measure your window frame at 3 locations: left, center, and right. Use the longest of your three measurements for cellular and honeycomb shades.
OUTSIDE MOUNT 1. Measure External Width and Height of Window Frame
Measure the outside width and height of the area that you want to cover. We recommend adding at least 4 inches to the width of the window,
and 4 inches to the height of the window.
In addition , most styles require an area minimum of 2 1/4" flat surface above yor window of frame for mounting brackets.
Outside mount cellular shades will be made to your exact measurement.

Choose Inside or Outside Mount
Inside Mounting
Inside mount shades are installed inside the windows's frame (window opening).
Enter the exact size of the window opening NOT the size of shade.
We will make necessary deductions ( - 3/8") from your width to allow space for the hardware and operation.
Do NOT use measurements of an old blind.
Outside Mounting
Outside mount shades will be installed on the wall or a door above the window.
Enter the exact size of the shade you want to order including overlap beyond the window and hardware height.
The factory will make no deductions.
We recommend adding at least 4 inches to the width of the window, and 4 inches to the height of the window.
This will allow for proper overlap with the wall.

Standart Corded:
Shades can be raised and lowered
with a color coordinated cord pull located on the left or right side of the window frame.
This choice is not remommended in the homes with children and pets.
Cordless: (Adds $26)
This is the safer choice for homes with childeren and pets.

Top-Down / Bottom-Up (TDBU): (Adds $26)
Increase room's light and privacy. A handy lift option that allow a shade to be raised and lowered from the top or bottom.

Allows a shade to be raised and lowered from the top or bottom by using color cordinated cordless lift handle.
Continuous Cord Loop (CCL): (Adds $26)
This option is for heavier or wider cellular shades. Comes with metallic chrome cord.
Rechargeable Lithium Battery-Powered Motorized: (Adds $150)
Efficiently raise and lower your shade with motorized lift. Perfect for hard to reach windows, heavier or wider cellular shades. Remote controll is all that is needed to lift and lower your shade.

Select a Headrail
A 2 on 1 headrail means you will have 2 separate blinds that operate independently under the same headrail.
There will be a small gap (about 1/2", but will vary by product) between each of the segments of the blind to prevent them from rubbing together.
For inside mounts, please ensure that the combined width of each blind equals the total width of the window opening.
Choose Cell Style
Single cell construction weigh less, so for large windows, this may be your best choice.
The double and triple cell construction will provide better insulation and save energy.
